What’s the difference in your temporary & permanent loc extensions?
Temporary locs are designed with a precise technique that is not installed to transition into permanent results but to Allow protection and to obtain growth of natural hair. They can be safely removed .
Permanent locs are embedded within natural hair for permanent results. They allow removal with similar method as removing natural locs . / combing out ; cutting .
What temporary loc styles do you offer?

Do you accept walk ins?
We are appointment based ONLY.
Do you style kids?
Child must be 14 years old + to be styled with temporary extensions ( any style with weave) or can book consult for tension observation and notation.
Permanent styles are permitted with no consult needed as they are tension free and will not cause aggravation/pain to child .
How long does my hair need to be to get locs?
For temporary locs, hair must be at least 1.5-2 inches for a secure installment. There is an additional charge if shorter than 3 inches. Permanent extensions require at least 3+ inches for a secure embed loc.
If I have a relaxer, can I get locs?
Hair must be 100% natural for permanent loc install. Temporary loc styles can be installed on relaxed or natural hair.
Can I wash my temporary locs?
We recommend returning to salon for deep cleanses for maintenance every 6-8 weeks to decrease build up and hydrate locs intensively however locs are installed with a transparent wrap allowing you to thoroughly rinse at home with leave in products only.

do you offer uninstalls as well?
Yes we do offer removal service for temporary locs styles .
what products do i need to purchase post temporary install?
To obtain moisture underneath the wrap of a temporary loc we have our very own hydration to recommend . It’s infused with 3 essential oils known as Allure Fairy Sap. Hydration is suggested at least 2x a week onto the actual loc stem. Preferably for tension we recommend purchasing the gel root relief (Cantui Acv Root relief) to apply as needed for up to 3-5 days post install.
Also is recommended for Total maintenance tension *
Can I leave my locs in
permanently to transition ?
Temporary locs are not to exceed 12 months. They do not aid in beginning permanent loc journey .
can i swim with my temporary locs?
Locs are safe to get wet however pool/chlorine/salt water is harsh and requires immediate cleanse post to prevent excessive drying or damage of hair .
Can I change my secured style day of appointment?
No. Typically once styles are secured upon your leisure that is the style we will expect to install however if you contact us directly we can adjust book/ change desired style for additianal $30 along with forwarding confirmation email . Appointment times are allotted accordingly.
If my hair is longer than bob can I still get that length?
Yes, Luxe locs are the only locs offered in Bob inspo and doesn’t require hair trim. However We will apply a fold and tuck technique to ensure removal safety & will can concur additional charges onto style up to $40 .
Can kids get temporary locs?
I do not recommend the temporary loc tension on any kid under 14 .
Is hair included?
Temporary style quotes includes everything needed to obtain style . Extensions +
Permanent loc extensions require additional work . We provide them at clients request of order during appointment securing process . They can also be purchased separately in the “Shop” tab .
Do I need to shampoo my own hair?
Cleanses are included with every service however if you decide to prior to arriving please leave free of product. to avoid interfering with styling .
If I shampoo my own hair will my total be deducted?
NO ! Cleanse is complimentary with all styles.

Can I install loc extensions onto my existing locs ?
Yes ! Loc extensions can used to increase the length of your current loc journey .
Can I wash my loc extensions ?
Yes you may cleanse your locs . It is recommended to not over saturate your new loc installment with heavy oils and conditioners as this journey would react to products just as a natural one would. Do cleanse however frequently over saturating with conditioners too soon will cause area attached to soften internally & may hinder maturing rate between the attachment or even cause slipping . If you must condition the first 8-12 weeks try avoiding attachment area .(apply to roots and below attachment area) . Be sure your natural hair and extension is budded before proceeding to add excessive softeners & heavy oils on attached area. Can proceed to apply desired nourishments to scalp .
Will my loc extensions be stiff ?
Initially loc may feel more firmer than what they will as they age (the longer the extension the better) .
Over time the locs wear and begin to appear more natural . Here’s why : Although our loc extensions are hand crafted , initially after installation they tend to not be as compact as a natural locs would, resulting in a lightweight loc. (its best if loc is lightweight vs a loc that is crafted to be hard, hindering flexibility).
If they’re short , this may cause them to flare a bit. As they’re worn and maintained , your natural hair begin to take its internal maturing matrix known as (budding) , allowing the loc to obtain natural weight . They will then drop and flex identical to locs that are naturally grew .
How are loc extensions maintained ?
Loc extensions are maintained identical to a natural journey . They can be re twisted ,palm rolled , interlocd , root crochet , loc smith , styled , curl etc ( literally any maintenance or style you would do to naturally grew locs)
can the loc extension damage if I bleach them ?
The hair is 100% is human , therefore yes they can be colored like natural hair however It is suggested to wait at least 4-6 mos post of receiving installment if you’re interested in doing it after . The. locs must be given time to mature internally specially at the attachment site . Coloring too soon or over processing may cause them to swell , dense out (get thin , eventually breaking) , frizz or even slip . Please be mindful that although it is human hair and it attached seemingly to resemble your natural hair , coloring must be done professionally or extension can damage just as your natural hair would . This could result in the need of crochet repair or even replacement.
How do I remove loc extensions ?
Loc extensions are designed to be permanent . To remove you must simply cut them out .
